8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday Apartment Leasing Agent Job Duties: - This position will be splitting time between two apartment properties in Barnegat & Waretown, NJ.
- Helps shows units to prospective tenants, assists with rental payments, late notices, processing work orders, etc.
- Answers incoming phone calls and provides information or routes call to appropriate person.
- Greets visitors, prospective tenants and current residents.
- Provide potential and current residents with accurate information on available rental units.
- May post basic info on various social media such as the company’s, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc..
- File paperwork pertaining to the property.
- Organize the office and orders supplies.
- Partner with maintenance team on work orders for the residents.
- Maintains wait list, updates, send letters.
- Tour property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.
Apartment Leasing Agent Job Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recent College Graduates are encouraged apply!
- Previous leasing experience is a plus
- Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administration skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Flexibility and adaptability required to meet changing business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
