Job Title: Associate, Application Engineer Location: 400 Howard St San Francisco, CA 94105 Job Duties: Development of strategic systems around the Client Reporting distribution & notification capabilities. Providing second line of support for technical and/or operational issues encountered. Understand and refine business and functional requirements. Provide ongoing development maintenance of existing application functionality, working closely with the client support teams to address issues that are escalated for resolution. Work with team members in multi-office, multi-country environment. Continuous communication of technology decisions, issues and plans to senior team members. Deliver high level of client service through responsiveness and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in job offered or related experience. Requires 3 years of experience involving each of the following skills: 1. Object-oriented programming; 2. Design patterns; 3. Backend or full stack development, building apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level; 4. Coding skills in Java; 5. Systems level software including in a large-scale, distributed environment; 6. Spring Boot; 7. Hibernate; 8. Junit; 9. Maven; 10. Kafka; 11. Relational database design and development; and 12.
