Salary Range: $49,177.00 - $65,183.00 Annual

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Behavioral Health I position will provide behavioral health services to the student-athlete population of Rutgers University Division of Intercollegiate Athletics,

This position is designed for clinicians that have obtained a master s in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or related field and are licensed or license eligible,

Qualifications:

Required:

Masters Degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or related field,

New Jersey License (LPC, LCSW CSW, or LSW), or eligible.

Preferred:

Strong preference for applicants with CMPC,

Scheduling Requirements:

Non-traditional working hours, holidays, evenings, and weekend required,

Essential Functions:

Report to their assigned clinical supervisor, and ultimately to the Director of Behavioral Health and Wellness,

Individual, team, and group interventions for athletes, coaches, administration, and staff,

Caseload is determined by clinical supervisor in conjunction with the Director,

Mental health screening and evaluations, including pre-participation behavioral health screening,

Psychoeducational activities- those already established and as determined by the behavioral health team,

This can include the development of new curricula,

A commitment to evidence-based and multicultural psychology,

Provide case management as needed, including but not limited to outside referrals,

Maintain referral lists, research and build new referral relationships, or anything related to best practices and clinical care,

Mental skills training,

Other duties as assigned,

Must perform the above duties with the highest standard of professionalism and ethical behavior and in accordance with health system, university, departmental, B1G or other affiliated conference and NCAA regulations, policies, and procedures,
