Job Title: Contact Center Representative

Location: GPM Life Insurance, San Antonio

Department: Service Center

Pay: $21 hr.

Working Conditions: Office ( without remote opportunity )

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday 7:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

  Handling phone calls is the primary responsibility of a Contact Center Representative. The Contact Center is a dual function team and they’re the primary contact for customers and agents.

ALL ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Contact Center Representative, each day could bring new challenges, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities :

  • Handle incoming calls and respond to incoming email requests via email, phone call or written correspondence.
  • Prepare a written synopsis of each call to be stored in our document storage system.
  • Complete requested forms and letters that will be sent to policyholders.
  • On occasion a callback may be necessary to assist a policyholder.
  • Send policy change forms and letters, i.e. beneficiary changes, names (marriage and/or divorce), and surrender of a policy.
  • Provide policy value information, process loans, and assist agents with information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School plus some college or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience in a life insurance environment preferred.
