Job Description

Our company is growing and we pride ourselves in working with quality painting crews and handymen / craftsman! We are in need of a skilled craftsman to do wood repair on homes prior to our paint crews arriving.  

The ideal candidates are professionals with the highest standards with experience in residential wood repair. They must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, which includes performing repetitive movements, standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing stairs and ladders, etc. We aim to keep our subcontractors busy and develop a lasting business relationship!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Carpentry skills and knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
• Must have all tools - miter saw, at least 32' ladder, circular saw, nail gun for siding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Quality conscious and detail-oriented
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Liability insurance required; worker’s comp strongly preferred
• Must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check

EXAMPLE PROJECTS:

• Remove and install window frames and brick moulding
• Repair rotten soffits with hardi-boards
• Remove and repair rotten door jambs
• Repair rotten fascia boards behind gutters
• Install Crown Moulding and baseboards
• Hang sheetrock, mud and tape - prep prior to painting
• Remove rotten trim boards on chimneys and install new ones

Compensation: $25 / hour
