**Job Title :** Journeyman Electrician **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and blueprints, and will be capable of working independently or as part of a team. **Key Responsibilities:** + Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in an industrial plant. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. + Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes. + Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. + Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. + Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. **Qualifications:** Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Iowa). Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial, commercial or residential industries. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. **Work Environment** 1st & 2nd shift openings. Monday-Friday 1st shift: 7a-3:30p 2nd Shift: 3p-11:30p Heavy industrial corn processing environment. Expect a hands-on role that may involve exposure to corn slurry and other chemicals, making it a dirty job at times. The dress code includes steel toes, jeans, and a long sleeve shirt. You'll be part of a large on-site crew of 120 people, typically working in smaller teams of 5-10. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
