We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. The OT will provide high-quality therapy services to patients, focusing on improving their ability to perform daily living and work-related tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients regain independence.
Key Responsibilities:Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per facility policy.
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and ethical standards.
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Maine.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
