Patient Care Tech – PCT - Oncology Ambulatory Services

Minimal requirements include;
-Highschool diploma
-A Maryland CNA License
-at least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years
-proficient in phlebotomy, starting IV’s, EKG

The Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Clinics provides both standard of care and research chemotherapy/immunotherapy, supportive care infusions, and clinical interventions for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. Other performance and patient outcome services include nurse telephone triage, discharge planning, care coordination, ambulatory clinical evaluation, and advanced drug preparation. Registered Nurses (RNs) care for patients with solid tumor diagnosis in the Viragh Building and patients with hematologic malignancies in the Weinberg Building. Salary Range: Minimum 18.63/hour - Maximum 28.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
