Job Description

This client is in the DoD space, focused on hypersonic propulsion and aircraft systems. They are hiring a PLC Controls Engineer to join their team. They need someone with strong PLC experience, as well as professional experience with both time-based and scheme-based databases. Existing DoD security clearance is not needed, but you must be able to obtain it. Required Skills & Experience ~ Bachelor's Degree ~2+ years of experience with PLCs ~ Experience with time-based databases such as SCADA or equivalent ~ Experience with scheme-based databases such as SQL or equivalent ~ The ability to obtain a DoD security clearance Desired Skills & Experience Python experience Object-oriented programming experience Experience with safety-control systems Familiarity with aerospace, automotive, or research environments, standards, and processes What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities ~80% Hands On ~10% Management Duties ~10% Team Collaboration The Offer You Will Receive The Following Benefits ~ Medical Insurance ~ Dental Benefits ~ Vision Benefits ~ Paid Time Off (PTO) ~401(k) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
