Position : Process Engineer
Shift : Rotating Day/Night Shift

EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in the area of end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking an Process Engineer to join their Production Department.

Job Summary:

• Maintain up to date process and quality specifications for all products.
• Monitor production to assure that procedures are properly followed.
• For new or modified product requirements, develop product and process specifications to meet quality and
• cost requirements.

This requires:

• Translate field requirements for a strap into a product specification that includes width, thickness,
camber, tensile and related characteristics
• Develop a process to manufacture the product to the specification on EAM-Mosca strap extrusion
equipment, including resin specs, die requirements, water bath, oven, stretch, annealing and winding
instructions and related parameters
• Train line operators in proper production and quality process execution
• Develop, publish and maintain manufacturing process specifications
• Provide an in-process quality inspection plan

For all strapping products:

• Assist with process troubleshooting as required
• Follow up field complaints, communicating with and responding to customers including identifying
root cause, initiating corrective action as required.
• Effectively perform as the final product and process authority for the Strapping Operation, as directed
by the Production Manager
• Work with equipment designers and salespersons to create or modify products and processes to
meet identified application requirements that the Company chooses to develop
• Participate on project teams to specify and justify new materials, plant and equipment necessary to
maintain quality, increase capacity or meet market needs for strapping products
• Work as a member of the strapping operation management team to assure that EAM-Mosca is able to
provide the products demanded by strapping customers, cost effectively, and with consistently high
quality
