Responsibilities:

Redesign and standardize software documentation for end users (including API documentation and Release Notes)
Work with internal stakeholders like legal, software engineering, compliance, UX/UI teams, and marketing product managers to create and adapt quality guidelines based on business needs
Gather, analyze, and acquire subject knowledge of products by collaborating with subject matter experts to acquire product samples and product knowledge to ensure thorough understanding of product usage
Participate in product planning meetings, demos, and reviews to stay up-to-date on software features and enhancements
Provide engineering teams with hands-on writing support from initial outline, and rough procedures, to final documentation
Own and drive all Content Management System relevant process steps to support the creation of the multilingual language set

Qualifications:

Proficiency in the following applications:
- MadCap Central
- MadCap Flare
- Sharepoint
Proficiency in HTML/CSS
Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman) and developer documentation processes
Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus
Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement (within team's span of control)
Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple timelines/priorities
Proactive and strong communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate within a team environment, supporting others and asking for support, as needed
Demonstrated ability to connect and network cross-functionally to understand key stakeholders by project.
3 years or more creating software documentation for end users

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communication, Information Systems, Software Development, or related field
SCRUM Master Certification
