InfraHire is hiring for Structural Steel 3D Detailer in Gridley, KS


- Create 3D models and detailed drawings for complex dry bulk storage structures from project concept through production.
- Model structural steel components, including columns, beams, bracing, connections, mezzanines, stairs, and railings using SDS2 software.
- Develop and detail 2D erection and fabrication drawings, including anchor bolt plans and shop fabrication details.
- Translate structural and architectural design drawings or 3D models into manufacturable designs.
- Generate raw materials lists, purchased items, and bolt counts to support procurement and shop floor activities.
- Review and approve drawing packages, cut lists, and fabrication documentation.
- Prepare identification tags and load planning documentation for shipping and field erection purposes.
- Collaborate closely with customers, fabricators, and internal teams (Sales, Operations, Production) to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Participate in engineering team meetings and help refine company standards for quality, safety, and code compliance (AISC, ASCE, IBC, OSHA, ANSI).
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, thoroughness, and technical accuracy throughout the design and detailing process.
