**TIG Welder** **$20-$26+ 10% shift premium for off shift | Indianapolis, IN** **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel. + Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. + Prepare materials before welding and select appropriate welding techniques. + Ensure the quality and strength of welds through precise techniques. + Maintain safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations. + Operate welding machines and tools efficiently. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel. + Ability to pass a math test (simple adding/subtracting decimals, identifying measurements on a ruler in inches). + Ability to pass TIG weld test. + Ability to read blueprints. + Must have own welding helmet and gloves. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with fabrication, stainless steel, and blueprint reading. + Knowledge of grinding and welding machines. + Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in welding. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
